The "Wish Upon" collection got its name because when I, Light Divine, made the decision to become a designer, it felt like a distant dream. Like something that could never really be. So, whenever I got a chance, I would wish upon a star that this distant dream would become my reality. At the time, a star granting my wish and me becoming a designer felt equal in likelihood. So it was only fitting that when granted the opportunity to show in New York during New York Fashion Week, I pay homage to the stars. I may not believe that they can grant wishes, but I also never believed that I would be here. And so, every now and again, I still wish upon the stars. Just in case.
